Jackson, Bridget Fonda, and Michael Keaton as supporting casts.

It cost about $12 million to make this 154-minute long movie, a hefty sum to dole out at the time. Regardless, the movie made an amazing $74.7 million box office revenue. This represents 84% Return On Investment for Miramax Films.

Not very top-notch as most other Samuel Jackson movies, it still manages to get some good ups from critics and viewers. It’s critics’ score is 87% and viewers’ score is 85%.

Hard Eight (1996)

Reilly) meets the somewhat kind-hearted Sydney (Philip Baker Hall), an established professional gambler. Sydney, out of the kindness of his heart offers to groom John through his gambling secrets. Unknown to Sydney, John was a loose cannon. John lacked the discipline that has made Sydney successful at gambling.

This Samuel Jackson movie didn’t quite do well on its release. For a movie that was made with $3 million, $222K is way below what anyone could imagine as its gross. However, the movie grew on the audience and found a way to get some accolades over the years. It was scored 83% from both critics and viewers.

As it is with all MCU movies, the production was done by Marvel Studios and distribution was handled by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the twenty-first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The film is written and directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, with Geneva Robertson-Dworet also contributing to the screenplay. The star cast of the movie is Brie Larson, playing the lead role as Carol Danvers. Other Marvel stars featured include Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Annette Bening, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

The movie is 124 minutes long and was premiered in London in February 2019. Captain Marvel hit the American screens in March 2019. Like most other Marvel Studio movies, the film cost between $152 million and $175 million to produce. However, the return from the box office was a whopping $1.128 billion.

Though this Samuel Jackson movie is an MCU movie, it didn’t quite live up to what was expected of a Marvel movie. Viewers did not hold back their disappointment as they gave the movie a below-par score of 55%. Critics had a different view of the movie as they graciously awarded 78% to the movie.

Big Game premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival and was generally well-received at the time. The movie runs for just 1 hour 30 minutes. The budget for this movie was about €8.5 million, which is approximately $10 million. The revenue from the box office was $7.5 million, which is lower than the original budget.

Although the movie was well received at the TIFF, it appeared not to have fared well among global viewers. With a viewer score of 34%, this is one of Samuel Jackson movies that have received a very poor rating from viewers. It did get a critic score of 78% though.

This movie was made on a budget of $50 million. After production, it made almost the same amount in box office sales. Though viewers hold the movie in high esteem, critics have a different story to tell.
