According to the Women-owned business Report – 2019 by American Express based on data from the United States Census Bureau Survey of Business Owners (SBO), women-owned businesses are spearheading the economic growth in the United States. 

The report stated that women-owned businesses have increased by 19% in the past 5 years, as compared to other businesses that have increased by 5%. These businesses represent 42% of all US businesses. They provide employment to 9.4 million workers and generate a revenue of $1.9 trillion.

With all these digits it is also important to note that there is still a significant size disparity between women-owned businesses and others. Seeing the promising nature of businesses run by women changes in policies, business practices, and attitudes that are required to make the nation a better economy. 

Safe workplaces, maternity leave, affordable childcare could be the areas the state can empower. 

Whilst businesswomen have always hoped that the state would help them flourish, we have never relied on it (or any other external factors, for that matter). This is not arrogance but self-reliance and self satiety that comes innately to the feminine.

Personally, I use Google Keep to create to-do-lists and tick them off when the tasks are done. You can also color code this list.
